    DMI is currently seeking to hire a
    Tier I Help Desk Specialist
    for a Federal Government customer on a long-term contract in the Augusta, GA area.

    This is an entry-level position that handles walk-in support requests and conducts software troubleshooting on par with the support provided by the Enterprise Service Desk (such as password resets, routine software installations, etc.) Tier I techs handle basic support tasks independently and work with Tier II/III techs to resolve work orders of higher complexity.


    Required Education and Experience:

    • 1+ years of helpdesk/systems experience (Required)
    • 1-3 years experience and an A+ certification. Tier 1 support

    Required Skills:

    • A+, Network+, or Security+ certification (Required within six months of hiring)

    Additional Requirements:
    Secret Clearance

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
