We are seeking a professional like you to be responsible for instrument selection and control strategy design and installation, network design and installation, system administration, completion, and on-stream operation of company projects and maintenance technical support.

Formula for Success: You Will‚€
- Instrument Selection and Control Strategy Design ‚€“ Display process knowledge utilizing valve sizing, flow meter sizing, pH, temperature, opacity, density, pressure, level, vibration, torque, and speed.
- Network Design ‚€“ Manage design of Virtual Local Area Network, IP addressing structures and switching, serial communications, fiber optics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) networks, and Distributive Control Systems (DCS) networks.
- Planning and Scheduling - Plan and coordinate the installation of instruments and networks, with the Project Engineer, and ensure equipment is ready to operate in a timely manner.
- Budget ‚€“ Control labor and material cost to ensure project completion within allotted budget.
- Crew Supervision ‚€“ Ensure all construction crews work in an efficient, safe manner and produce optimum results while complying with company work rules.
- Equipment Start‚€“Up and Maintenance ‚€“ Assist the Project Engineer in start-up of new equipment. Provide maintenance technical support as needed.
- Project Engineering/Project Management ‚€“ Provide project engineering support as a part of a project team, and provide project management as the leader of a project team

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You‚€
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience with the theory and practice of Instrument Engineering as used in a chemical plant and/or industrial operation.
- At least 8 years of experience in Instrument selection and control strategy design/project engineering or related fields in a chemical, specialty materials, or minerals processing industry.
- Working knowledge of network design.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience directly supervising/managing other professionals.
- Knowledge of administering software licensing preferred.
- SAP knowledge desired.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
