Directs and coordinates all operations of plant.
Responsible for the receipt, storage and shipment of materials pertaining to the operation of the facility.
Controls flow of materials and utilization of labor to ensure adequate and accurate production.
Responsible for hiring, disciplining, termination of staff, and completes all performance reviews.
Responsible for day to day maintenance of plant.
Requirements:
Participates in daily production planning activities to maximize customer satisfaction and operating efficiency, to include assignment of job tasks to facility staff Manages safety by maintaining compliance with safety guidelines, reporting discrepancies, and recommending corrective action to ensure safety at the facility Review production orders and/or schedules in order to fulfill all order requests Resolves operational, production, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum cost and prevent operational delays Oversees inspection of machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization Resolve worker grievances or submit unsettled grievances to upper management for action Examine all equipment for any operational or maintenance problems Take necessary corrective actions for any problems found Light electrical maintenance Administer and maintain preventative maintenance program Mining background preferred Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable accommodations, the essential functions of all jobs within the facility.
Must be able to interact effectively with personnel in all levels of employment Requires good verbal (including telephone) and written communication skills as well as the ability to read and remember details.
Must have working knowledge and be able to troubleshoot processing equipment within the facility Minimum
Qualifications:
Valid Georgia Drivers License and clean driving record Good physical condition Flexible working hours and conditions High school diploma or equivalent Must have at least FIVE years experience in similar type facility Shift Monday- Friday .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
